Biosnap Conservation App
Biosnap is a mobile conservation platform that harnesses users data from the app to assist conservation efforts. Users experience a social platform centered around wildlife. They open the app and snap photos of animals, then biosnap’s algorithms identify the animal and tags its location. From there, the picture can be shared and tags of the same species can be viewed. Biosnap takes the tags and data and transfers it to certified conservation efforts.
The design of the branding features a clean, sleek look. This is to compliment the photo heavy app by giving users ample white space and to let the photos shine. The color palette of orange and green was inspired by the tree frog, an iconic amphibian whose species is under serious threat due to Chytrid fungus, climate change, and habitat loss. Finally, the simple slogan “snap · tag · conserve” both describes the app and works as a call to action.
